OG's successfully hugs the ground through most of the layout after the pretzel loop which makes it fairly exciting as compared to number 7. Superman: Ultimate Flight, SFOG: Flyers work best either close to the ground or high in the air. It's about as cookie cutter B&M looper layout as they come, but that's not a bad things But also, probably? What is Bizarro but Superman, and what is Superman but Bizarro? Oh ya, the coaster. Bizarro: Should this be included? Probably not.Superman Krypton Coaster, SFFT: Every other Floorless seems to pale in comparison for one simple reason: that quarry wall.Superman the Ride, SFNE: I hate the term "elite" coasters (as if coaster enthusiasts didn't come off snobby enough), but this is the only one on those lists I'd consider to be truly among the best of the best.Either way, here's my list! (Slightly stolen from my comic book ranking thread but with some tweaks) They don't quite have the variety of Superman, but, especially if you include villains, there's enough variety for a good list. This is a super cute idea! I'd love to have a separate topic for Batman coasters as well. It was novel at the time, but ridden a few of these now and I don't love them.

Superman Ultimate Flight, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - I think these are not much more than a plus one. Good for what they are, and definitely better than most cloned crap, but don't really light my fire. Superman - Ultimate Flight, Six Flags Great Americaĭon't love 'em, don't hate 'em. Superman - Ultimate Flight, Six Flags Great Adventure brashness and simplicity of it, and it is a pretty sweet experience going up the tower. Superman: Escape from Krypton, Six Flags Magic Mountain - Unique-factor puts this up. It's not particularly uncomfortable either - which usually these old Vekomas are. Superman The Ride (ridden as Xpress: Platform 13), Walibi Holland - The launch is quite fab, and the layout is quite impressive. Ride of Steel, Six Flags Darien Lake - Besides the wacky straightaways, this was pretty decent. The layout is good, and it's only really pipped by the one at SFFT due to the location. Superman / la Atracción de Acero, Parque Warner Madrid - I really liked this. It's setting is stunning, and I love the deviations from the 'cookie-cutter' layouts of B&M's floorless coasters of the era.

Superman Krypton Coaster, Six Flags Fiesta Texas - Love this. It does still hold up, but clearly not breaking many top-twenties anymore. Nowadays it feels a bit old-fashioned in it's style, but I do see why it was so 'groundbreaking' back in the day. Superman the Ride (ridden as Bizzaro), Six Flags New England - This was one of those coasters that I sort of understand why it was rated so highly back in the day. Fix those problems and you might get an 8-9.Searched RCDB for "superman", let's see what it spits out. The ride was not very smooth, your missing some head chopper supports and your brake timers are broken. Your corkscrews are not elevated properly and they are bent out of shape. The train needs to go threw the MCBR between 31-37 MPH, and the exit to the MCBR is less gracefull than that of your coaster. The track leading upto the MCBR is not low enough, on the real ride it is at minimum distance allowable by law, 11 ft, low enough if you sit in the back car you can hear the "woooshh" as you pass under it. The cobra roll does not turn midway into the MCBR lead up.

You are missing a trim brake into the cobra roll. The first turn and dive into the canyon was way to big, it has a much tighter radius, same for the up over and dive, much smaller and the train doesnt slow down in it. After the lift the straigt away is only big enough to fit the train. This ride was OK, but there are alot of issues with this and some of the elements were not accurate.
